Horse and Lion Barbershop was born from a desire to keep the old new, and have a place where comaradery can thrive. Grounded in tradition, family, and friendship, the shop’s namesake comes from the history born in an old English pub, family crests, and children's signs in the stars.

We aim at making you feel at home with the banter, sincerity and familiarity of every single visit. From the most simple trims, classic shaves and the more complex cuts. You will leave standing taller feeling more yourself, and better than when you walked in.

Our journey to where we are today is marked by the love and support from friends, family, customers, and clients. Thank you for being part of our story.

THE BARBERS

Ian Napoli

  • Ian is the owner and founder of Horse and Lion Barbershop and has been a professional Barber for over 11 years, with the 3 years prior spent as an apprentice. Starting his hair cutting journey on board the attack Sub USS Santa Fe, he's taken his strong attachment to story telling and the camaraderie the military instilled in him and brought it to the shop.

  • Hot towel shaves and quick fades.

Conner Woodring

  • Conner has around 2 years of experience as a barber. Prior to his time as a barber, he was a mailman; a job that taught him the value of hard work and real human connection. Currently the lead vocalist in the death metal band 'Servant of Sorrow', Conner brings enthusiasm and the love of many different styles of music to conversation.

Whether you need a quick cleanup or a fresh new style, he's got you covered. He looks forward to seeing you in the chair.

  • Medium length feather cuts and classic masculine cuts.

Steve R.

  • Steve has been a barber for over 30 years. He grew up around the business with his father who owns a busy Barbershop in San Antonio. His Saturdays growing up were spent working at the shop with his dad shining shoes and sweeping the floor, making sure it was spotless after the hot towel shaves and hair trims.

Steve takes pride in the precision and skill that go into every fade, shape-up, or beard trim. It’s a craft that constantly challenges: to improve, stay sharp, and keep up with trends, while still adding his personal touch to every cut.

  • Military style and 50's scissor trims.
